Here is a summary as well as a listing of the sources I have for my paper
so far. Many thanks to the people who responded - I appreciate it.

-------
finin@PRC.Unisys.COM (Tim Finin) sent me the bibliography compiled by
Lee Erman for last Novembers workshop on Intelligent Real Time Processing
Systems. It is over 2000 lines long, so I will spare you all and not post
it here. If anybody would like it, let me know and I'll e-mail it to you.

------
Professor Chandrasekaran from Ohio State graciously sent me a copy of
a report, A Knowledge-Based System Architecture for Real-Time Disturbance
Control in Process Plants. That was unexpected and very much appreciated.

 From: motcid!marble!ahlenius@uunet.UU.NET (Mark Ahlenius)
A recent IEEE Satelite conf. on Expert systems (last Wed.)
has a guest named Thomas Laffey, from Talarian Corp.
His company specialized in real time expert systems,
and he quoted a number of them and tools.

He could probably be a good source of info.
his Mountain view, CA phone number is (415)-965-8050.
address is 1043 N Shoreline Blvd. Suite 201,
