[comp.ai] intelligent interface for unix available ????

i want to do my graduate thesis on developing an intelligent interface for unix
 users. i plan to do it on nexpert running under sun. i would greatly appreciat
e if i could know of similar efforts at any school or organization. as my idea
is in still in infancy, i would welcome any other comments. feel free.
