THE UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX UNITED KINGDOM SENIOR LECTURESHIP OR READERSHIP IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE SCHOOL OF COGNITIVE AND COMPUTING SCIENCES Applications are invited for the post of permanent Senior Lecturer or Reader in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from 1st October, 1991. Applicants with a track record in cognitive modelling, computer vision or natural language processing will be especially welcome, though applicants with skills in other areas of AI, or who have systems, algorithms or HCI skills in computer science will also be considered. The person appointed will expect to play a significant role in managing the teaching and research of a thriving group. Initial salary will be on the Senior Lecturer salary scale, L23,425-26471 per annum (under review).
