REFERENCES WANTED ON THE FOLLOWING AI TECHNIQUES: MODEL BASED REASONING (particularly for fault-finding) PROTOTYPE REDESIGN (strategy for design) I am looking for 'good' refs on either of these two subjects - ie ones that are regarded as seminal in the area, provide better-than-average examples of their application or are good overviews of the technique. Does anyone please have a favorite reference to either of these two AI techniques. If so, please could you let me know what they are. What references I have are very specific to my own application area and I may be missing some gems (I hope). Please reply to holden@eng.cam.ac.uk Thanks Tony Holden ************ NOTE : I am posting this on Tony's behalf. PLEASE reply to him, rather than to me. Hopefully, I've set up the 'Reply-To:' field correctly for this to happen automatically ... (fingers crossed) (patrick) ************ -- Patrick Gosling, jpmg@eng.cam.ac.uk Cambridge Univ.
