I'd be interested to hear what others (if there are others) have to say about
"Beauty Stab," the new ABC album. I love it. They are using "real" instru-
ments more, relying less on orchestration. "Power of Persuasion" and "Hey
Citizen!" have searing guitars, and though Martin Fry can't match the silken
voice of Bryan Ferry, the band is beginning to remind me of Roxy Music circa
"Country Life" and "Siren."
