My college is about to get a site lic for either MAPLE or MATHEMATICA. Most of us who use GUI's are strongly in favor of MATHEMATICA, but there are a few who contend that MAPLE will handle substantially more complex forms. What I would like to get are first hand reports from those that have seriously used both MATHEMATICA and MAPLE recently concerning a) ease of use b) complexity handled c) any other pertinent comments you think might be helpful.
