[comp.ai] Double sided Djikstra for mobile robot path planning...

I am looking for information which supports or detracts from the use of
the double sided Djikstra (sp) search as an optimal method for the
derivation of paths in unexplored terrain in a mobile robot application.
Articles, opinions, etc, are solicited. Post or email and I'll
summarize. Thanks.
