Hi! I have just procured a Symbolics 3650, and although I am an animator by trade, I am compelled to study Lisp in order to take full advantage of the system. I have some programming background, in 68xxx assembler and C, and with a combination of the seemingly extensive Symbolics documentation on Symbolics Common Lisp (slc) and a few select books from a friend, I will learn some Lisp. How much Lisp depends on how much fun I have, of course :) What I am looking for here, or anywhere, is some sample code related to the "Flocking" behavioral work described in Craig W. Reynolds' "Flocks, Herds and Schools: A Distributed Behavioral Model", found in ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics Volume 21 #4 July 1987. I don't want anyone's life work for free, but some examples that demonstrate something I'm really interested in would go a long inspirational way for me... Any pointers or directions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
