Aren't there any disk antennas in other countries, where the laws might be less built on whims of juries and judges? I no less than nothing about situations in specific countries, but with so many countries on the globe... Some might be ill-placed with respect to the satellite, but anyway... Anybody care to comment on the situation in e.g. Mexico? Not too far from the US (telephone links might still be payable), not wanting to get the US angry, perhaps welcoming the $$ and technology (USENET will be cheap for Mexican sites, their telephone company will gain from the incoming calls, etc.). Another thing: why has the sending to be centralised? I understand that if many locations were sending, liabitily would be much reduced, just as with USENET now. is that true? -- Biep.
