I've started a sub-collection within my music library of tunes or albums
which are best known in English, but are available in some other language.
As a new subject: what others do y'all know about? Here's my list (a few
of these I've only seen, do not have).
Along the lines of interest in foreign-language rock tunes, I'm also interested
in albums and selections which contain SOME or ALL of its lyrics in languages
other than English. But there are SO MANY tunes which have just a line or two
in another language, I'm not sure its reasonable to list them all.
I can't see cluttering this news file with millions of replies to this article
(for example, as a minor flame, I find the "wierd titles" articles a little
inane and cluttering). If you choose to mail me your additions instead of
posting to the net, I'll summarize the replies.
French
David Bowie, "Heroes/Heros" (English/French version, from 12" single)

Abba actually has a Spanish version of one of their albums - I saw
it in a Spanish record store in Chicago - not being a fan of theirs,
I did not purchase it.
Blondie, "Call Me", from 12" Single
Urdu
Fun Boy Three, "Our Lips Are Sealed" (Urdu version, flip side of the
single featuring the English version).
