I noticed at Records on Wheels on Yonge St that the Cure's "Boys Don't Cry" has been deleted. At $3.99 (maybe less elsewhere) it shouldn't be passed up. The Cure are currently into gloom-and-doom new-wave synth (reminiscent of Joy Division and Simple Minds), but this is one of their "earlier, funnier" albums. It even has a bouncy pop number (!) based on Camus' "L'Etranger" called "Killing an Arab". (Simple Minds also has an "earlier, funnier" LP called "Life in a Day" which has been deleted and can probably be found real cheap somewhere.) (This is supposed to get Toronto distribution only ... Let me know if it got further by some fluke.)
