In the latest issue of FidoNews (Vol 6, #17), which can be found in comp.org.fidonet, there is a wide ranging debate about their next operating policy document. It's very interesting. It recapitulates a number of the debates seen on USENET from one time or another. Read it, and be glad that we don't have nearly the same number of problems as they do... Erik E. As ex-1:204/1154, I can tell you this: the biggest problem Fidonet has is the tendency of people to want to control it. Unfortunately, the technology is such that it is possible. In Usenet, that's not the case. =Aaron= ==================================================================== Aaron Priven. aaronrp@ucscb.ucsc.edu ...ucbvax!ucscc!ucscb!aaronrp "The Law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich, as well as the poor, to sleep under the bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread." -- Anatole France
