Try something like this...

"Copywrite 1989 by David Bedno.  Permission to redistribute granted as long as
it does not appear on the "IN MODERATION" network."

Now, the theory behind this is that some human being is going to be reading
the articles to determine the worth of them for IM distribution.  Should they
get to your Copywrite notice and *ignore* it, they're breaking the law.

All this is going to get fuzzy if articles are followed up without the notice,
but I'm sure you could still argue that the IM folks would be responsible for
watching for this.

Note that my above example is an example.  Like nj, I live for ATTRIBUTION;
as long as I get that, you can distribute my article any way you like, charging
as much money as you like for it.
