[net.unix-wizards] blit software for BSD

dberry@ucla-locus.arpa (Dan Berry) (09/26/86)

Kigen Hasebe from Japan asks me ...

I am using AT&T Teletype 5620 DMD with 3B2. Now I want to use 5620 with
VAX and BSD's. Is there any software to support 5620 on VAX and
BSD's? I have the source license of 5620 software for UNIX SYSTEM V,
but I never want to use SYSTEM V on VAX.

But I don't know the answer.. So any of the wizards know?

Yes, BSD support for the 5620 DMD exists. Call AT&T Teletype
at the number given in your manual and ask about the unsupported
DMD host software tape for BSD (it is possible that this tape is
available to universities only, so be sure to identify yourself
as such).
