The referenced article in rec.arts.startrek began with several lines of included text, and I skipped most of it, as usual, using rn's TAB command. Skipping those lines caused me to read the following four lines successively. | I really shouldn't reply to anything I read on this damn group, seeing as how | they increased its density to the point where core temperatures were high | enough to ignite hydrogen fusion. It would seem to me that the fusion would | very quickly damp out if insufficient mass were around, however. Enough said. Followups directed to rec.humor. -- Mark Brader, SoftQuad Inc., Toronto, utzoo!sq!msb, msb@sq.com "The conversation never became heated, which would have been difficult in any argument where there is a built-in cooling-down period between any remark and its answer." -- Hal Clement, STAR LIGHT This article is in the public domain.
