We've come up against an interesting problem with notesfile - we have been adding groups and have arrived at a NFSEQ string of 12 notesfile names, serving about 400 users. What happens now is that the 'checknotes' ( -v flag ) program stops short after encountering the 5th non-permitted notesfile group in NFSEQ. Because of the diversity of functions from one group to the another most users have access to more than one note, so we've been able to very carefully sequence the items in the string and tailor distinct NFSEQ variables dependent on work groups. Initial set-up was a bother, but we're now able to fit a new user into an existing group and to add a new notesfile to suitable NFSEQ strings. Would much rather have found the code that limits failures to 5 but failed in that. Is this a known problem? How have other groups addressed it? Is there an obvious solution that we've missed (I don't want to hear about it)?
