This may not apply to your version of notes (we're using one that we got from
HP...version 2.7). At any rate, with ours, there is a file called "invalid"
in the same place as the "active" file. That file specifies which groups
should be considered invalid (and not auto-created). If a note has no valid
groups, it will be "junked". In our case, we were getting lots of notes to
junk because I was trying to prevent a lot of the groups-created-only-thru-
cross-posting from happening (e.g. the boston.general group mentioned in
another subject line). I fixed that problem (if I remember correctly) by
going into the "directors" page for the junk group and "closing" it and
making it "un-networked". I probably only needed to do one of those two things.
Your mileage may vary...
