Hello, When I start our 'notes' like 'notes system', I get this message: You aren't allowed to read /usr/spool/notes/system There is no policy note Hit any key to continue I've tried in superuser mode, but I can't access this group to read messages. What could be the problem ?,and how do I solve it ? Glad for an answer,Jonas -- jonas@lkbpyr.lkb.se

You can fix the problem by su-ing to the signon -notes- and then going into the notesfiles that respond as you indicated. Once in the notesfile then type -d- to take you to notesfile director options. Once in the director options you need to set the permissions (access) to the notesfiles, you do this by typing -p- and from there assigning either user, group or system level permissions. As the bottom line RTFM. -- Jerry Waltz Global Information Systems Technology, Inc. 1800 Woodfield Drive Savoy, Illinois 61874-9505 UUCP: ...uunet!gistdev!jerry INTERNET: jerry%gistdev@uxc.cso.uiuc.edu ATTMAIL: ...attmail!gistqa!jwaltz PHONE: (217) 352-1165 #include <std_disclaimer>
