I am the poster of the recent IB-1000 Product Announcement article which has regretably caused a few problems on the net(s). Currently, it seems to be caught in some sort of whirlwind as I have just seen another two copies appear in the news today. One week ago (May 7th), I posted the article to a number of news groups (6 to be exact) when in fact I should have posted a single article to a single list of news groups. These were USENET news groups. Somewhere along the line, some sites have resubmitted the article to the desktop publishing mailing list which in turn is passing them back into USENET. Also some ARPA people are upset because the commercial nature of the article and the fact that it appearred on the ARPAnet. This I can't apologize for because my intent was to just have the article only appear in the selected USENET news groups. With the exception of the multiple postings, the article was within the guidelines given in "Rules for posting to Usenet (Last Changed: 1 May 1987)".
