Sender: [Note: cross-posted to news.admin because maybe someone there can figure out what the hell happened to this article!!]: Remember the article I posted to soc.singles (the Jerk test results for me) on May 25 that had 3 (count 'em, three) copies of the article quoted somehow, and everybody got pissed? Remember how I said I couldn't figure out how it had happened since I had trimmed the thing drastically in the editor? Well, it just now (June 6) arrived at MY OWN SITE; and check out the funky path it used and the weird "Path:" line!! -- >Article 9100 of soc.singles: >Path: clyde!cbosgd!ihnp4!inuxc!pur-ee!uiucdcs!convex!clyde.ATT.COM!seefromline >From: rcj@clyde.UUCP >Newsgroups: soc.singles >Subject: Re: How big a jerk are you? >Message-ID: <-963200@clyde.ATT.COM> >Date: 25 May 87 22:56:00 GMT >References: <2619@zen.berkeley.edu> >Lines: 162 >Nf-ID: #R:zen.berkeley.edu:-261900:clyde.ATT.COM:-963200:37777777600:8391 >Nf-From: clyde.UUCP!rcj May 25 17:56:00 1987 Note it originate from clyde (the posting machine of my clustered group), but then made its way back into clyde from convex much later. Also, it shows the "Date:" as the correct date of when clyde might have originally posted it, not the date it really arrived back here.
