I feel obliged to include at this point a credit which somehow didn't make it into my submission to the quiz -- I was ably assisted by various officers and other members of the MIT Lecture Series Committee. It was undoubtably their aid that pushed the entry I submitted over the top to #1. (I got all the easy ones by myself, though.)
