Geez folks. I just spent a lot of time sifting through all these "stop cross-posting to xxx newsgroup" or "get this discussion out of this newsgroup" messages. Really tedious. Can I suggest that we do the following? 1) If your message is of this type, please say so in your header so other people can skip it. 2) Instead of posting your "stop cross-posting to the newsgroup" message to the newsgroup, why not e-mail the offender? It seems several messages are sent from the offended newsgroup. Why not deluge offending cross-posters with gobs of email thus causing them to stop doing it in self-defense? This surely will cost less than the cost of transmitting the "stop cross-posting" messages all over the net to every site. Rich
