Regarding the forgery problems. There are two. The first one being that someone could make it look like you wrote an article that you didn't. That is definately a problem. And it looks like the Public Key system that's being tossed around in alt.flame and news.admin could work. However, there is one other problem. That is when someone claims a posting is a forgery because the poster no longer wants to claim authorship of the letter. I'm sure this has happened on more than one occassion when all the cries of "Forgery!" are counted. The Public-Key system doesn't do a damn bit of good for preventing this problem. If someone can come up with a good solution to this problem, I'm sure people will want to listen. -MikeP
