Well, don't tell me... Tell the site administrators!!

Note: I would like to add a formal request to the person who booted
Scrooge to please un-boot him. Unless you get other postings
disagreeing, please do so.

These are the official opinions Mike Friedman
of my organization. So, TOUGH!!

The terms "freedom", "rights", and "censorship" have been so
overused and abused that they can mean anything you like. I
really would not call it censorship if your doctor won't show
me your medical records, and you are "free" to "censor" your
tax return from me if you wish. My "rights" don't obligate
you, nor yours, me.

Why is it that you have a "right" to post/read anything on
the net but I don't have a "right" to decide how to run my
business? Why is it that Scrooge has the "right" to be a jerk
but I do not? Surely, deciding who uses my machine and in what
manner they do so is my business; presumably I don't have
to give you an account if I don't want to.

I will defend your right to object in the same way I will
defend the sysadm's decision to not let Scrooge post -- it
*is* a free country and it *is* his machine. If he were
trying to get you kicked off *your* machine for postings
he didn't like I'd be on the other side entirely.

You don't have to like it, you can say "too bad Scrooge is
not around anymore" or "<netadm> is a mean guy" but don't
call him a Communist. Speaking of which, I never heard
anybody call Reagan a Communist before. Perhaps you mean
"facist"?

So what keeps him from recieving the groups as mail?
And following up by mailing to a group@backbone??

OK, I stand corrected. Let me re-phrase myself. In my opinion, if you
boot somebody off USENET because you don't like his/her postings, you
are an asshole. Simple enough for ya ?

And, I suggest the proper word to describe Reagan is JERK.
