my new company doesn't have a unix machine in the house -- but they would like to be connected to usenet... we have 4 vax vms systems which do nothing but test LANs -- i would like to make one of these into a usenet node... any vms usenet sysadms out there?? if you could contact me via email or the net, i'd appreciate it... thanks... steve elias

Re: Usenet on VMS This question comes up about every two weeks - I guess we should fire up an autoposter so people don't miss it :-) The VAX SIG VMSnet working group is in the process of preparing a set of software tools that will allow VMS users direct access to the USEnet. The package will include UUCP network compatable mail hooks to VMS mail, Smail for Internet mail routing, and a USEnet news compatable news system. Stay tuned for more information.
