Hi. We're trying to hook my friend's 286-based PC clone into the net. We've got an upstream site that's willing to provide a feed (just mail and a few groups), and we have uupc to get the stuff back and forth, but what we need is software to batch/unbatch news and a news/mail interface that connects into the WWIV BBS software (the current [4.0?] version) he runs his board on. We can probably handle the job ourselves if we absolutely have to but if someone else out there already has such a system set up, we'd appreciate a push in the right direction. It sure would save a lot of false starts, and I'm sure that somewhere out there someone's already done exactly what we're trying to do.
