I'm finally getting killer's archives together again. The system is now running System V Release 3.1.1 from AT&T R&D, and among other really bozonic changes, all logins must have a password now. There are a few real improvements, though. The point is, I'll soon be posting the latest version of 'how to get the goods' to comp.sources.d. Would you give me the info on a couple in NJ? Thanks. no. i will give you pointers to one here in texas and pointers to how to find one in new jersey. unfortunately i don't have an entire list of sites under my finger tips. killer is a 24 hour a day public access unix site. the phone numbers are 8210390, 8274670, 8271994 and 8247881, all in the 214 area code. callup and login as new or something like that, instructions are displayed when the machine answers the phone. next is the "nixpub" listing produced by wayne@warble here in dallas. it is posted on a regular basis to pubnet.nixpub or some other such group. it lists a variety of public access unix systems. another site is oncoast or sir-alan or something like that. it is listed in the maps and makes a reference to being a source archive. in general, archive sites seem to mention that fact. if you need maps, i archive them here for my own use. this machine is also listed as having some archived sources. good luck and happy hunting ... - john. -- John F.
