Hmmmm. I havn't seen it here in the U.K. Have you tried France or
Germany? Maybe it climbed on a Quantas Jumbo and is cracking tubes
on a beach in Oz?

Oh, hold on! this posting went ***Worldwide*** - the puppy probably
isn't on the planet then. How about asking that nice man Gorby if his
chaps going to Mars will have a squint round for it??

--End of snide remarks and on to the serious bit.

Seriously though, This is just the latest example of the junk posted
with no thought to the distribution.

How about the backbone junking articles without a Distribution line or
at least inserting a default distribution that is not world?

Most of the "condo/dishwasher/tickets for a concert tomorrow in New
Jersey for sale" articles are posted without *any* form of distribution
line at all. Junking them at the backbone would at least limit the
propogation.

Right, that's got the tin open.....here come the worms!

Oh come on now! Couldn't you ask Robin Hood if he has seen it lately?

It could be boozing in Champagne.. that's where it was last seen.

Haven't seen it in any Melbourne pub, but then I haven't been
looking... There is a pub here called "The Loaded Dog", but they
	don't usually serve Champaign.

At least this is humorous, sob stories about an undergrad having financial
difficulties in the States isn't. They don't have such problems in Ethiopia
or Palau. Maybe this is why we don't hear any gripes from them. I mean,
when you're an affluent society, who needs outsiders, eh?

I would like to see a news posting program that does not have the
default of "world". It is just too easy for some people to pound on
the return key, and walk across the prompts, making a global post.

If they had the default be local/state/nation/global that would be
better, as it would cause someone to have to deliberately create a
global posting.

This is true, the last time I suggested this, I recieved mail from
a few *rude* system admins, telling me I was preventing freedom of
speech, and who am I to tell them how to be a site admin.

Oh well...
