I think we already have a level of community standards.  Community standards
aren't "set", they just *are*.  If someone posts something that offends enough
people (viz: jj) he'll certainly get flamed for it, but I think the reality of
the situation is that there just aren't all that many people on the net who
take the time to be bothered by "dirty words".  So there's your community
standard right there.

If you're still bothered by posts with the nasty words in them, set up a global
kill file for them or something.  Seems like it would be a waste of time to me,
but then I'm not bothered in the least by the use of "dirty" words...this is
more of an individual problem than a net problem, in my opinion, and should be
solved on an individual basis (both on the sending and recieving end).
