I don't know in which newsgroup you are reading this, but I am posting
it from misc.legal. We have been swamped by several threads which
began with Mark Smith's threat to "go after" Michael Berch. I am
asking for your help.

I do not recall seeing any postings which actually attempt to support
a position on specific legal grounds, and maybe 2 where the poster
referred to any legal matters and seemed to have any idea what they
were talking about. We have a typical high volume flame war, and it
belongs somewhere else; alt.flame as far as I can tell.
I have resisted using kill files in misc.legal because "you never
know" when someone might ask a question I can answer, regardless of
the thread the posting is in. I am chagrined at the thought of
starting now.
Please. You would be doing me personally a big favor, and certainly
many others, if you would remove misc.legal from postings which don't
really belong here. I have posted this to news.admin and soc.women
because nearly all of the articles I have seen go to all of these
places. None of these forii (pl. forums :-) ) seem appropriate to the
discussion; I am sure that many people who read and post there would
also appreciate your consideration. Note the followup line to this
article.
