With all this flak over the microsoft killer articles, I thought
some of you might be interested to see another example of a bad header. I
was perusing an old news error log file when I ran across:
Feb 13 02:02 news expire: Unparsable date "31 Dec 69 23:59:59 GMT"
Either somebody was screwing around on purpose, or somewhere along
the line, somebody has some screwed up software. That date and time are 1
second before the Unix time epoch. Sounds suspiciously like a programming
error to me.
