can someone please tell me who to contact to get a new group going on the system. seems lots of people want the rec.ham-radio.swap group. but i dont know how to start the new subdirectory on our system to have it gernerated throught USENET ... please help !!!! someone !!!! joe holman ka7ldn microsoft!joehol

There were some recent statements by someone at SRI-NIC that there would soon be a written statement of policy from the IAB regarding just this situation. If the group could be kept on the USENET side only, that might be enough to get it going.
