A while ago I applied the official patches from Rick Adams to bring my news B2.11 to patchlevel 17. Everything seems to be running fine except one thing. I have a modified version of the Arbitron script that posts stats to a local group once a week. It submits an article to inews with the option "-e 7days". On one host running B2.11.14, this works as intended. The Expires: header is correctly set to t-7days. However, on another host running B2.11.17, this same option results in an article with the Expires: header set to something like 22 hours later. Is this a bug or my mistake? Can anyone else reproduce this? Is this a known bug? Did I miss a patch? Thanks for any help given. Mail me your response(s) and I'll post a summary if asked.
