[news.admin] CANCELL/DISREGARD CALL FOR VOTES ON COMP.INTERNET* **DEAD ISSUE**

netnews@pikes.Colorado.EDU (Robert M. Sklar) (03/14/89)

Please disregard any further discussion regarding Comp.internet and comp.
internet.addr. The general census is NOT to have such a group or groups
as the comp.protocols.tcp-ip group covers much of the discussion and most
sites seem to be running the name-server.

For those who replies, I thank you for your prompt replies and input.

Thank You,

I would like to point out that if there had been a period of discussion
before calling for the vote, the point would have been made then and the
vote never would have taken place. How can you have a vote on an undiscussed
issue?

It must be easy - it happens every second November.
