If Karl Denninger can take steps to reduce
net.flamage, I guess I should, too. Therefore, to
conciliate all those castigating me for my opposition
to bigoted humor, I hereby offer the following compromise
position:
Group humor/generalizations/stereotypes are acceptable *if*
the victim group is one of the following:
1. Aggies.
2. Yankees.
3. Bigots.
4. Democrats and/or leftwingers.
5. Republicans and/or rightwingers.
6. Moderates.
7. Politicians.
8. Bureaucrats.
9. Tax collectors.
10. Pentagon brass.
11. Social workers.
12. Fans of Mel Torme.
I suspect agreement on this will border on the unanimous, and I
think we'll see virtually universal compliance. I seek no thanks
for my time and effort on this, but I do claim an inspiration
copyright thereon.
Para un Tejas Libre,
Jeff Daiell
