[news.admin] USENET ACCESS

lucena@eniac.seas.upenn.edu (Angelito L. Lucena) (03/18/89)

hi, i'm not sure that this is the right place to post this, so please
don't flame me...

i am posting this for a friend who no longer has net access since
she moved down to galveston tx.

i would like to know if there is any public access to usenet from
that area of the country since the engineering firm she works for
does not as yet have net access.

if you have any suggestions, please send me e-mail
thanx in advance

I want to access the USENET from my PC at home. I need to know is it open
to general public. Also where can I get the software, if necessary, to do
so.

Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello:
I would like a bit of help....
When I received my copy of USENET sources , I only received
the C sources and not the documentation or handbooks. I have
been experimenting with the software for sometime now and feel
as if I should make an official application to the net, and yet
I have no idea on how to go about it. What I would like is a copy
of the documentation pertinent to the net as well as some help in
properly applying to the net. My information is as follows.

	Name : John L Grzesiak
	       47 Spring Street 3rd floor

	System : ODICON -
