It's been a few weeks since I received any replies to my request for top albums of 1983, so I'll assume I'm not going to get any more and post the results. The criteria I used to order them were, in order: 1. Largest number of people who named the album on their list. 2. Lowest sum of the positions at which the album was listed. 3. From all the lists on which the album appeared, the best position at which it ranked on a single list. 4. Largest list on which the album appeared. I also saved the comments people sent in with their lists. I'll mail them to anyone who requests them. They could be very informative if you're looking for good music that you haven't heard yet.
