I, also, thought I was posting to news.admin, to which I subscribe out of necessity. It seems that the author of the article to which I was responding had directed the original to both news.admin and alt.sources. pst@anise.acc.com (Paul S Traina, according to the map database) arrogated the authority to cancel my article. Though that may be acceptable in alt, it is not considered good manners on the Usenet. Unless you can invent a control message that can break links between cross-posted articles and leave one while removing the other, please refrain from such behavior in the future.

Yes, it was in bad taste for me to cancel your message in alt.sources. Sorry about that, I think most of us would rather see "A solution to the monopoly in Germany" in alt.sources than vigilante cancel messages. Yet another case where the cure is worse than the disease. Sometimes I just can't win... :-( regards, pst -- The Constitution isn't all that great, but it sure beats the hell out of what we're using now.
