I'm thinking about offering a public access service. I'd like to hear from others who are running such a system to find out how others have set it up (in terms of fee schedules, marketing, etc.) We're talking small time here. I currently have about 100 BBS (limited access) users and about 30 normal Unix users. I might be talking a few hundred "pay-for" users at the most (probably a lot less really), not so much to make the big bucks, but just to help offset the costs of modems, phone lines etc. -- David Beckemeyer (david@bdt.UUCP) | "I'll forgive you Dad...
