[news.admin] Re^2: Tired of bogus subject lines?

I was on the receiving end of some of this `junk mail' about 3 days
before it was posted to the net.  The mail I got came from a machine
at purdue.edu.  

A request to the postmaster@purdue.edu got the script removed and
an polite apology (thanks). 

If I get any more automated junk mail I will have to write an
automated bounce script that throws it at the postmaster of the
offending site.   1/2  :-)

For those trying to figure out if the posting was real here is the

Here is a mail message that I received.  I had no idea what it was or what
the subject line meant.  I don't know the person who sent it and they didn't
respond to the query that I sent them in reply.  Is this in the same
category as what Pettitt is writing about?  (Note the mail message that I
received has no content):
