The only thing that's commercial about it is the fact that some people, after reading it, might decide they want to subscribe full time. I can't see that as against anybody's policies. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that group creation on usenet is such a pain-in-the-butt flamewar these days, I would create it as a misc subgroup or something.
