[news.admin] Bogus Control messages

jsol@bu-cs.BU.EDU (Jon Solomon) (10/22/89)

At the VERY LEAST there should have been discussion before someone
posted a control message to unmoderate comp.dcom.telecom. That
list is a feed from the TELECOM digest on the Internet and as such
if someone posts to that list, there will be no filtering back to
the digest for the other readers.

Someone is posting a control message to the net trying to unmoderate
TELECOM. I am asking all sysadmins who read this list to not consent
to that control message. TELECOM is not requesting that
comp.dcom.telecom be unmoderated, and the person who is asking for
this is out of line.

This is the rest of the message I got from the TELECOM moderator

Please ignore this control message and any other you may get from this
person about TELECOM.
