Both Haskell B. Curry and Alonzo Church will attend the 1982 ACM Symposium on LISP and Functional Programming to be held August 15-18, 1982, at Carnegie-Mellon U. J. Barkley Rosser will give the banquet address on the history of the combinatory calculus and the lambda calculus. For a further conference description, see the current issue of "Communications of the ACM". The conference is scheduled and sited adjacent to the AAAI-82 meeting. Preregistration deadline is July 15.
