Becaused of the difficulty getting return mail through Harpo, I'd like to point out I'm a dolphin user, and would desperately like a newsgroup for discussing these beasties. My expertise has primarily not been in Interlisp, and I'd love some help in learning how to use the beasts!

All of us here at SDC/Paoli AI would also be in favor of starting such a newsgroup. The questions - are there others out there with Dolphins? What to call to new group? net.cetacea is probably too restrictive - Dorado and Dandelion users might feel left out. And what about other Lisp hardware (Symbolics, LMI, BBN)? There is an ARPanet Dolphin user group. Perhaps we could arrange for a gateway to it when/if the proposed newsgroup gets set up. They have an archive on SUMEX-AIM, which I've been unable to get at, 'cause Wharton is *still* not running TCP!
