Has this come up before? Every two days or so my active file is suddenly empty/null/zero'd. 'Usenet' gets a mail message about a problem with the active file which has been corrected (hah!) I am running 2.10.3 under 4.2 (actually, SUN3.0), is this something fixed in 2.11? Will put that up a newer version shortly. I am also running NNTP to at least two sites (that is, two sites very often, some others can but don't much.) Hints, temporary workarounds etc appreciated... -Barry Shein, Boston University
