h e l p When I (!)'ed a group in sys, example; !rec or !soc, all those articles end up in junk (they ARE in active!). But if I just pick individual groups !rec.humor or !rec.pets for example, they will not go into junk and I will receive the remainder of rec or soc groups. What I'd like to know is it feasible to (!) out the rec and soc groups in sys without having them end up in junk? I don't want to archive or stop the rec and soc feeds all together either?

You need to work with your news feed to selectivly choose what you want them to feed to you. Modifing your local sys file only tells your local inews what you consider "junk". > > What I'd like to know is it feasible to (!) out the rec and soc groups in > sys without having them end up in junk? If you are not a leaf node you may want to keep them around for at least a day or two for the down stream sites. -- John A. Make it say !soc.all instead of !soc. That's what I do here and I don't have any problem with it at all. ============================================ (*Look, ma - no offensive quotes!!!*) Jane Medefesser uucp: {pyramid, mordor, oliveb, sci}!tolerant!jane Tolerant Systems San Jose, Ca 95134
