[news.sysadmin] comp.editors and comp.emacs?

Hi - I'm not sure that this is the right place to ask, but here goes:

Why are there both "comp.editors" (presumably with a subtree) and
also "comp.emacs" ? After all, emacs *is* an editor, right?
