Pretty Please, Is anyone in the Phoenix area in the U.S. (602 area code) in a position to give a news feed to a colleague of mine in our Scottsdale office? This may seem a weird request from the UK, but he has no connectivity to e-mail or news at the moment, so has asked me to post. If you can oblige, please contact either me or my colleague direct on (602) 998-9294. His name is Phil Tait. I am the "news" administrator at Brookhaven National Laboratory and we are looking for a second NNTP news feed to supplement our current feed from Stony Brook Univ. so that when SBU is down we can continue to receive the news. Is there anyone out there willing to provide such a feed, and does having 2 news sources create problems? Please answer via email, since we are only receiving a fraction of the news at this time. Thanks in advance, INTERNET: abrams@bnlux0.bnl.gov or root@bnlux0.bnl.gov BITNET: abrams@bnlux0.BITNET or root@bnlux0.BITNET UUCP: ...philabs!sbcs!bnlux0!abrams (or ...!root)
