My system (dkstar) is attached to bagend. Whenever I issue the command: inews -n to.bagend -c sendsys < /dev/null I get not only bagends sys file, but I also send my own sys file to myself. I have played with the sys file, and taken all "to" groups out of the dkstar sys line. I thought this would prevent the control message from being sent to dkstar. Aparently not. I am running news 2.11 path 14 on a berkley 4.2 Symmetric computer system. I have smail and sendmail if that matters. Is it normal to get your own sys file when you request someone elses, or do I have something set up wrong? Thanks... -- No disclamer here.
