[news.sysadmin] ** Asking Bnews 2.11 for Patchlevel **

Just a quick question in passing - I read that we will have troubles 
when we get to 99999 in one group ;-)  hehe hopefully the ole expire
command will squash that for me before then [-).  At any rate, how do
you ask 'inews' what patch level it is on?  If this is a REAL simple
answer I appologize - but I need to know this in any case,

I don't think you can.  But each release has a unique SCCS ID, so
if you do
	what inews
and see
	inews.c  2.92    9/1/89
you're running B 2.11.18
	inews.c  2.91    1/24/89
=> B 2.11.17, etc.
